Social enterprise organisation Social Traders has created a unique one day marketing programme to help charities, social enterprises and voluntary organisation improve the marketing of their services and engage directly with customers and supported.

The programme will focus on the use of social media tools such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Slideshare, Wordpress, Google and YouTube.

This programme is for people with responsibility or interest in marketing their organisation. Organisations with an agreed marketing plan will benefit most from participation and a basic working knowledge of the internet/email is required.

Response to new developments in government support for skills training and benefits (3 December 07)

The government’s latest policy announcement, “Opportunity, Employment And Progression: Making Skills Work” heralds a new range of steps aimed at enabling people to get into work and then to develop their skills at work.
