Introducing social impact measurement

Thursday 19th November 2009, 9:30am - 1:30pm
  • Want to demonstrate the value of what your organisation does to investors and funders but don't want to pay thousands on consultants and training?
  • Don't know where to start?
  • Want to keep things simple?

To celebrate Social Enterprise Day, Social Firms UK has teamed up with the Toolfactory to offer members of the Working Together network a free short introduction to the concept of social impact measurement, what to measure and how to measure it. By the end of the session attendees will have started work on a strategy to measure your social impact.

This 1/2 day practical and interactive event will cover:

  • what social impact is;
  • identifying the change we make in people's lives or in organisations;
  • how we measure social impact;
  • how to implement social impact measurement;
  • approaches to measuring social impact - SROI, social accounting etc;
  • tools and resources that are available to help.

There will also be the opportunity to do some networking over a delicious buffet lunch prepared by a local Social Firm!
