Social Entrepreneurship Today: Grasping the Challenges and the Opportunities

Wednesday 18th September 2013 - Saturday 21st September 2013

Social Firms Europe - CEFEC Annual Conference

Europe’s foremost international conference on Social Firms will be held on the island of Corfu (Kerkira) from 18-21st September 2013.

Social Firms are globally recognised as a vital pathway to work and empowerment, offering opportunity and support to people who can otherwise find themselves excluded from the labour market due to disability, ill mental health or a history of homelessness or offending. But like other businesses, they are impacted by current economics and policies, nowhere more so than Greece itself.

Join us in Corfu as academics, social economy researchers, market and industry analysts, government officials and policy makers meet with Social Firms practitioners and entrepreneurs to discuss, debate and develop current thinking and best practice in social entrepreneurship.
