Founded in January 2006 Mow and Grow truly has grown and was short listed for the Enterprising Solutions Award for Best New Social Enterprise 2008. Mow & Grow was visited by the BBC as part of a 15 part documentary called Saints and Scroungers which went out in early 2009. Dominic Littlewood, presenting the series, filmed one of the teams in action as they provided a garden make over for a council tenant in North Lowestoft. The garden was picked in partnership with the Police and Waveney District Council.
