The search for the UK's best social enterprises is on
Organisations and individuals have only a day left to enter the Social Enterprise Awards - the nationwide competition that celebrates the work and achievements of the UK’s most inspiring and successful social enterprises.
The Social Enterprise Coalition is working in partnership with the Social Economy Network in Northern Ireland, Scottish Social Enterprise Coalition in Scotland and the Wales Cooperative Centre in Wales, to deliver the awards.
There are seven categories open for applications:
Start Up Social Enterprise of the Year Young Person’s Social Enterprise of the Year Social Enterprise Leader of the Year Social Enterprise Mark Holder of the Year Social Enterprise Unsung Hero of the Year Social Enterprise Partner of the Year Social Enterprise of the Year
Winners will be announced at a ceremony held at the Indigo O2 venue on 30th March 2011.
Previous awards winners include Social Firms Brighter Future Workshops, BikeWorks and PACK-IT.
